Chairman’s Message: August 2026

As we relaunch and reimagine the 100 Black Men of Delaware Newsletter, we do so with great enthusiasm and a renewed commitment to keeping our members, partners, supporters, and the communities we serve informed, engaged, and inspired.

This newsletter is more than an update on our activities; it reflects who we are and what we stand for. It is a place to celebrate milestones, share opportunities, recognize those who make our work possible, and highlight the impact that occurs when dedicated men unite in service to others. Through regular communication, we hope to strengthen the bonds within our Brotherhood while deepening our connections throughout Delaware.

As we reflect on the past year, we have much to be proud of.

From mentoring young men through our Saturday Leadership Academy to advancing health equity initiatives, hosting community events, and expanding partnerships across the state, our chapter has continued to demonstrate what happens when purpose is matched with action.

None of these accomplishments happened in isolation.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the mentors who faithfully show up and invest their time and wisdom in our youth. To our volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes, your dedication strengthens every program and event we undertake. To our sponsors, community partners, and donors, thank you for believing in our mission and helping transform ideas into meaningful opportunities for Delaware's young people and families. Your support allows us to expand our reach and deepen our impact.

As we look ahead, our vision remains clear. We will continue to build and enhance programs rooted in our core pillars of Mentoring, Education, Health and Wellness, and Economic Empowerment.

The future of the 100 Black Men of Delaware is bright because of the collective commitment of our Brotherhood and the community that stands beside us. We invite you to stay connected, share in our journey, and continue supporting the work that changes lives every day.

Together, we will continue to lead by example, demonstrate what is possible through service, and ensure that our impact extends far beyond today.

What They See Is What They'll Be.
